About Ryan McCormick

Ryan McCormick has lived in Wendell Falls for five years and in North Carolina for fourteen years. Originally from Eastern Long Island, he has come to know the community closely, often walking five or six miles through the neighborhood each day.

McCormick is running for the Board of Directors because he values Wendell Falls and believes his experience can be useful to the community.

Ryan is the co-founder and managing partner of a New York based public relations agency recognized by Forbes as one of America’s top crisis communications firms. For seventeen years, he has advised individuals and organizations facing public scrutiny, business disputes, and decisions with real consequences.

His work has included Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, along with physicians, attorneys, financial firms, and public figures. Ryan also oversees the agency’s vendors, contracts, and key accounts.

McCormick has worked with more than fifty attorneys during his career. The experience has taught him how to get to the heart of an issue, when professional advice is necessary, and when a direct conversation can solve the problem.

Ryan’s crisis communications experience would be particularly useful when the board needs to address a sensitive issue quickly and clearly. He knows how to establish the facts, involve the right professionals, and communicate before confusion becomes a larger problem.

If elected, Ryan will attend meetings consistently, listen to residents, and take an active role in the work of the board. He would be honored to serve the Wendell Falls community.
